Pinar Painting Contest
Pınar Children's International Painting Contest has been organized for 41 years to increase the interest of primary school children in painting and fine arts and to the artists of the future. Pınar Children's International Painting Contest attended by children from all regions of Turkey and organized with a different theme every year since 1981, continues to develop the artistic skills of talented young artists. While eleven little artists were awarded with tablets and professional painting materials, three students will be awarded a one-year scholarship after the art works from seven geographical regions of Turkey, from Germany, the TRNC and through the social media have been evaluated by the jury formed by Prof. Dr. Hayri Esmer, Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Dokak and Asst. Dr. Devabil Kara under the leadship of Artist Prof. Dr. Mümtaz Sağlam as well as by the journalists İhsan Yılmaz, Olkan Özyurt and Fatoş Karahasan.
